Purported Boko Haram Spokes Man Arrested By Security Operatives





The State Security Services, reported to have arrested a purported member of dreaded Islamic sect Boko Haram on Wednesday

The man arrested, was said to be Abu Qaqa, a spokes person of the sect.

Qaqa has been the one speaking to press in Maiduguri, the capital of Bornu state, after major attacks by Boko Haram.

A source who refused to give his name, said, Qaqa was arrested after a team of the State Security Services(SSS) Operatives and Soldiers stormed his resident in the early hours of yesterday and found him hiding under the bed.


The tracking of his movement through his telephone was said to have aided the security operative in finding out his exact location.

The Kogi state born Qaqa was said to have been arrested alongside a top member of the sect
The two suspect were facing interrogation in Abuja last night.
It was gathered that the SSS is in the process of ascertaining whether it was the real spokes man of Boko Haram that was arrested
